Johnson Johnson Vision is set to pioneer a comprehensive eye health ecosystem that will redefine the standard for eye care in Singapore. This initiative significantly increase access, capacity, and personalization of patient care through a multi-faceted approach over the next three years.
The integrated ecosystem will be bolstered by Johnson Johnson Vision's collaboration with the Singapore Economic Development Board EDB, focusing on talent development as part of its Smart Nation initiatives. In Singapore, a nation where approximately half of children will be myopic by age 12 and nearly three-quarters will have the condition by age 452, eye care is crucial. The ecosystem Johnson Johnson Vision plans to develop will address these challenges head-on, ensuring access, capacity enhancement, and personalization in eye healthcare.
The initiative will encompass several key aspects:
Enhanced Access: Through partnerships with leading institutions like Singapore National Eye Centre SNEC and Singapore Eye Research Institute SERI, the ecosystem will improve myopia management through collaborative research med at understanding its development, progression, and interception3.
Personalization of Care: Leveraging from Johnson Johnson Vision's partnership withSingapore under its 100 Experiments program, real-time data insights and consumer experiences are expected to be improved for eye care4.
Digital Capabilities Expansion: Building on Johnson Johnson Vision’s existing consumer-centric mobile platform, MyACUVUE, the ecosystem will deepen digital capabilities by increasing product personalization, expanding home delivery services into telemedicine5. This comprehensive approach will set a benchmark for eye care in Singapore and across Southeast Asia.
